Tutorial cara pake Siemens Service Tool pernah di-share oleh Mas Yudiyan (KoTsK) dulu. AFAIK, cara manualnya adalah dengan mengukur tegangan voltase battery dari konektor di hape saat battery kosong (mokat) dan saat battery full (VBatt1 dan VBatt2, tapi mana yang VBatt1 dan mana yang VBatt2 ane lupa :)) ). Kemudian klik calculate, maka akan keluar angka2nya, itu yang nanti akan dituliskan ke dalam blok Eelite pada hape.

SST synthesis parameters for each type of battery

This article will hopefully help you understand what the meaning of the parameters of the SST, so that can be adjusted and optimized use of battery time for his beloved uncle SL45.

Before discussing how to adjust how the SST, I would say through some small knowledge and experience I have been on Li-Ion battery for mobile phones in general and in particular SL45. Somewhat lengthy, but you will understand somewhat better battery life, avoid guessing and nostalgic tune that still does not focus on is what you need.

Each member of your phone Li-Ion batteries have two main parts:

1. Cell phone is the department store. Electrical load will be built here and exported back out to use.

2. IC (a piece of printed circuit chips) to the main functions used to control the battery charging and protection. You just do pure electronic test: Go directly from the battery charger, not through the body.

You just testing: measuring the voltage directly on the Cell 2 and 2 output after IC. If equal, the Cell and IC compatible, and if the IC output voltage 0.2V compared to the pressure loss of the Cell 2 it is clear that there is not compatible, and this type is never fully charged, and SL45 are not used all the battery capacity.

Now switch to SL45.

SL45 as well as other phones, need to know when the battery voltage is depleted to the message "out of battery - to charge", to avoid battery depletion or k shutdown notice as we do not actively charging; and a voltage level to know when the battery is full to not interrupt power to the battery.

Before using SST, you check your computer as follows:

Step 1: If the computer is used well, to use the machine until the message "Battery empty, Recharge!" Then shutdown, remove the battery voltage, if the approximately 3.4-3.6V is OK. If the range 3.8-4.0V, the need to adjust the SST (case 1).

Step 2: Charge until full alarm, take the batteries which, if around 4.1-4.2V, then OK. If you still need to edit below 4.0V, the SST (case 2).

We use SST to adjust these parameters. SST interface as follows:

Through this interface, you can see there are so many parameters, but we are only interested in two main parameters are 0000 and 0004 only. The remaining cells you just set as shown above is.

* 0000: adjust the battery voltage level at which the machine will start off newspapers (empty). From 4300-5500 or greater. The larger the number of machines as much thought battery (high voltage) and keep taking more and more (not currently informed of all). The smaller the number as soon as the alarm off when the battery is still full.

* 0004: the same, full alarm when charging (full). From 62000-65535. The larger number ( 65535), the machine has reported less than fully charged, the battery can not be loaded to full power. The smaller number ( 62xxx), the machine re-charging excessive, leading to always disconnect the battery IC Cell from computer circuits to always turn off when charging. I've explained this before on the IC.

The settings are as follows:

First of all, you keep adjusting all the parameters as shown above. Then use normally.
Check the battery voltage when dry and when fully as I said above.

If you fall into:

- Case 1: 0000 to gradually increase, each 1-200. Admitted to the SL45. Repeat step 1 until check OK.

- Case 2: down from 65,535 down to 0004, each 2-500. Admitted to the SL45. Repeat step 2 until check OK. Note, if lower than 0004 less than full, the charger IC will shut off before the mainboard of Sl45, always turn off the machine at this time. So we have to edit so that the battery is fully filled before the alarm threshold of the IC interrupt (to the computer is running).

Sl45 though some batteries have long been used by the battery status bar reports correct k (always full), so you add the following code loading (firmware v56) to alarm the battery bar is more accurate.

Currently they are used with SL45 Battery BL-4C thin good after calibration using SST was heard calling normal 4-5 days, do not need a BL-6C thick.
2 years ago for use with BL-4C zin by machine (rather expensive) had been used 5-7 days.

All matters only that, hope you adjust to the correct SST SL45 batteries and more efficient exploitation.

Small Note:

1. Zin by computer battery is very important SL45, SL45 battery for IC has 3 poles, power poles than 2 to 1 between the poles, pole plant helps identify a certain number of batteries, and this IC is fully compatible with the SL45. This is often true battery vacant lots.

2. Blk just right for each machine, each machine must edit your own Blk. Even when new batteries also need to adjust Blk follow the steps above.
